Physiotherapy clinic advertising in Saskatchewan: the 2026 bylaws in plain terms
The direct answer
Section 27 of the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists' Regulatory Bylaws, consolidated with effect from 1 January 2026, governs advertising. No member may offer to guarantee a cure. Advertising must contain no comparison, direct, indirect or by innuendo, with another practitioner, no promise or offer of a more effective service or better results, no unjustified expectation, no testimonial, no client's name, and no product endorsement for financial gain. The consolidated bylaws replace earlier versions still found online.

What section 27 says
The Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists' Regulatory Bylaws, in the office consolidation effective 1 January 2026, deal with advertising in section 27. No member may offer to guarantee a cure. Advertising may compare neither directly, indirectly nor by innuendo with another practitioner, and may neither promise nor offer a more effective service or better results. It may create no unjustified expectation, may contain no testimonial, may disclose no client's name, and may endorse no product for financial gain.
The section sets no rule on specialist titles or on discounts and incentives, so those questions fall to the general bylaws and to the College. Searches for the bylaws still return a superseded 2016 document, so check the consolidation date on anything you rely on.

What a Saskatchewan physio brand can lean on
The rules remove testimonials and comparisons, which are the two shortcuts most clinic websites rely on. What stays open is description: who the clinic treats best, how a first assessment runs, who the physiotherapists are and what they trained in, and what it costs.
Clinics with a clear practice focus, such as post surgical rehabilitation, sports injury or workplace injury, have a reason for referrers to remember them, and none of it requires a promise the bylaws bar.
